Playing

If you would like to come along and play rugby then here is a good place to start. Our rugby teams are organised in school year groups so you will always be playing with children of your own age. 

The RFU the organisation that runs rugby in England have an agreed set of rules at each age group.  This is designed to gradually introduce the skills and the rules of rugby.

To start playing why not contact the coach for your age group they will be happy to talk about how you can get involved.

Coaching

If you are interested in coaching our mini and junior players then please contact our mini & junior section Chairman.  All our coaches are CRB checked and many have RFU qualifications.  The club is keen to invest in its mini & junior coaches by providing funding for RFU courses and holds regular coaching sessions to help improve our coaches skills.

Volunteering

At Driffield RUFC we have a number of active fund raising sections including the ‘Scrummy Mummies Committee’ a group of interested mum’s who have raised literally thousands ponds to fund the mini & junior section.  They are keen to have new members with new ideas.  If you are interest in helping raise funds please contact the Scrummy Mummies via our contacts page.

The mini & junior section also has two main committees which meet monthly during the season to help organise the coaching and the business aspects of the section.  We are always keen to see new members who can provide a range of skills we need to run the section.  If you are interested in joining one of the committees please contact our mini & junior section Chairman.
